Behind the original limestone exterior, Cuyler is effectively a ground-up rebuild. From framing and mechanical systems to finishes and fixtures, everything is new—delivering the performance and reliability of new construction while preserving the architectural presence that makes a greystone feel timeless. The design maximizes the standard Chicago lot and building envelope to create a true six-bedroom home, with four bedrooms on the second floor and two additional bedrooms in the lower level. By rebuilding the structure and extending the basement, we achieved 9-foot-plus ceiling heights on every level—including the lower level—so the home lives bright, open, and comfortable throughout. Featuring brands Marvin, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Kohler, California Faucets, Mirage and James Hardie. Also includes custom wood cabinets, American white oak flooring, two heated floors and a rooftop patio.
